FAA Ramp Worker - Sec. 353 - Questionnaire
FAA Ramp Worker Safety Questionnaire – Survey Now Closed
The FAA Ramp Worker Safety Questionnaire is now officially closed.
On behalf of the IAM Air Transport Safety Department, we extend our sincere thanks to every member and industry stakeholder who took the time to complete the survey and share their experiences. The response from our membership and the aviation community demonstrates the industry's commitment to making airport ramp operations safer for everyone.
The information provided by frontline employees is invaluable. Your firsthand knowledge of daily operations, hazards, training, equipment, and workplace challenges will assist the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in its evaluation of airport ramp worker safety as required under the FAA Reauthorization Act of 2024. This input will help identify opportunities to improve safety guidance, training, technology, and industry best practices to reduce accidents and injuries associated with aircraft movement, jet blast, ingestion hazards, and other ramp operations.
The IAM remains committed to advocating for the safety of our members and ensuring that the voices of frontline aviation workers continue to be heard. We appreciate your willingness to contribute your knowledge and experiences to this important national effort.
Thank you again for your participation and for your continued dedication to keeping our airports safe.
